Snow among other things

Wow, what an amazing 24 hours we have had. My kids and Paul and I were able to witness history as a family last night as we elected our first African-American president. I have loved how interested all three of the kids have been in this election. They have such a passion for all of it. Even at Kayla's level it is geuine interest and opinion. I have truly cherished this politcal journey with all of them. Andy has been expecially passionate, though Tyler has dutifully followed it all as he reminds me he will vote in the next election ( wow - time flies).

This morning we awoke to snow. This was the official change of season and we will likely not see temperatures higher then 50 before March/April. Like most of you know I am not a fan of the bitter cold and dry winter season Utah so religiously gives to it's residents each year. But I have pledged to have a better attitude about it and focus on the bright side. Which is more inside time with my family, more fun cooking, more movie nights and sweatshirts ( which I love).

That's it for now

Yes, I have been amazed at how opinionated Andy has been about all the election stuff but also how knowledgable he was too. I don't remember even caring about this stuff when I was his age.

Yea for snow (sorry!).

Ty voting just doesn't sound right. but driving doesn't either, we need to stunt their growth. We don't have snow yet but very cold. Good to see you back on the blog. PICTRES :)
